Atmospheric Dolomites
Dolomites, October 2020.
While seeking for autumn colours, a sudden storm rises from the lower valley. A cloud inversion is taking place abruptly, the moist air condenses ineluctably around the peaks while rising. A dance of matter densities, the solidity of the rock formations interplays and dissolves while surrounded by the forming clouds.
The environmental phenomena pertains somehow to a 'superhuman scale' on which, till lately, the human race had very little influence. This series explores how the natural elements can resonate with our inner world. The relationship between "atmospheric" events and inner feelings. We have, as humans, an innate inner ability to synchronise our emotions to the natural environment.
